Are there any plans for a sequel to City in the Sky?
A lot of readers have asked if there will be sequel to City in the Sky. Erik Tarverro’s story was written so that it could either stand alone or set up a series. It was one of the first fantasy books Glynn released, and he was testing to see if continuing the story would be viable. However, compared to Glynn’s science fiction books and newer fantasy series, it wasn’t as successful and there probably won’t be a sequel to City in the Sky.
While the narrative leaves the possibility for a sequel open, and we love that the book has dedicated fans, Glynn would likely start a new fantasy universe rather than returning to his older two standalone fantasy works (City in the Sky as well as Children of Prophecy).
Will there be any more Castle Federation books?
The series was on hiatus for a number of years, but returned in January 2022 with Admiral’s Oath. The story continues with the Dakotan Confederacy series.
Will there be a follow-up to the Excalibur Lost novella?
Excalibur Lost was designed as a standalone novella. There are currently no plans to expand it into a series.
