2,189 today, 36,507/50,000 total. Yesterdays writing included an adorably semi-awkward first date.  It's been a year and some since I had one of those, but I remember them (especially the last) fondly. Today, the reader was introduced to the second identified firearm of the story so far, and the fact that the Fae keep armouries including everything from pistols to grenade launchers to runic orichalcum magic swords. So, until I started Nanowrimo at the start of this month, I hadn't written in some time.  There were a number of reasons for this (and that lack of writing was one of the reasons why entries had slowed to a trickle on this blog), but a big one was a lack of motivation and a lack of a writing habit. So today was one of the days that has been fatal to my writing in recent months. I knew what came next, I figured how the scene would start, but the words just didn't want to flow.  It was like fighting through goop, and it starts with getting motivated to write.
