Purchase requirements. No purchase necessary.
Entry. To enter this online sweepstakes, entrants must visit the Signed Castle Federation Paperback Contest page and fill out the form using their name, email address, and answering a skill-testing question. Participants do not need to join the mailing list to participate in this contest. Participants can enter their name into the draw additional times by participating in bonus activities coordinated by SweepWidget. These activities include: signing up for the Glynn Stewart Newsletter (+10 entries), Following the Glynn Stewart Page on Facebook (+1 entry), and Retweeting a specific post on Twitter (+1 entry). Participants who are already members of the Glynn Stewart Newsletter can sign up again with no penalty. These activities are purely participatory in nature and have no monetary value attached.
Contest Dates. The contest will be open to entries from November 9, 2021 (when the contest is announced) to January 10, 2022 at 11:59pm ET.
Eligibility. The contest is open to individuals in all jurisdictions worldwide, except Quebec and where prohibited by law. It is open only to individuals over 18 years of age who have reached the legal age of majority in their territory of residence and are legally able to participate in a sweepstakes at the time of entry. Employees or contractors of Faolan’s Pen Publishing Inc. (Sponsor) and any immediate family members of, and any persons domiciled with any such employees or contractors, are not eligible to enter. The contest is void where prohibited by law.
Release. By entering the contest, you agree that your first name and last initial will be displayed online if you win. You agree that the Sponsor and “Glynn Stewart” social media accounts may share posts and repost images that are shared publicly by you that are about the contest, and that those posts will display your online username.
Skill-testing question. As this contest is administered in Canada, participants must answer a skill-testing question to enter the contest.
Prizes. There will be one prize, which is a collection of the six books of the Castle Federation series, signed by Glynn Stewart. The contents of the prize retail for $113.70 CAD ($83.94 USD). The prize has no cash value and cannot be exchanged.
Odds. Each entry has the same odds of winning. Participants can gain additional entries by participating in SweepWidget activities described above. The odds of winning depend on the total number of entries.
Privacy. The Sponsor receives the information provided in the form (name and email address) for the purposes of administrating the contest. We will only keep your personal information for as long as it is necessary for the administration of this contest. Participants may choose to gain additional entries by joining the mailing list or participating in the contest on social media, which abide by separate privacy policies.
Selection. One winner will be selected randomly using the SweepWidget service within 48 hours of contest close by the Sponsor’s employees. The winner will be sent an email by the Sponsor from a faolanspen.com email address, notifying them that they have been selected. The selected winner must answer the email within 7 days of the email being sent by the Sponsor, and must provide mailing address (that is not a PO Box) and phone number for the purpose of receiving the prize. If the selected winner for the prize does not reply to the email or provide the required information within this time frame, their entry is void and another winner will be selected. If that winner does not reply with the required information within 7 days, the prize will be rendered void and will return to the Sponsor’s inventory. The prize will be shipped before March 10, 2022 at 11:59 pm ET by an employee of the Sponsor. The prize will be shipped from Canada, using the most reliable low-cost shipping method available to send to the recipient. If the prize is returned undeliverable or lost in shipping, the prize will be rendered void.
Modifications. The Sponsor reserves the right to modify contest conditions as needed to ensure a fair, transparent, and fun experience for participants. The Sponsor reserves the right to end or void the contest in case of a serious issue.
