Unintentional continuity error as originally written (I could have sworn there were three in Duchess of Terra) but further waves of Laians definitely happened, so I’m going to say that one of them came on a cruiser.
is there space magic in this universe as well?
No, Starship’s Mage is my only space fantasy setting so far.
Hrrrm, blurb promised Bond, but frankly, she’s barely relevant to the plot. I admit to some disappointment.
Book 4 in the works at all? I haven’t gotten to book three yet, but Series seems good and I hope it will continue.
Once you are finished the Duchy of Terra trilogy, you can move to the Light of Terra trilogy. The first book in that is Darkness Beyond. Hope that helps. Happy reading!
