Attempting to escape the supernatural politics of the fae, half-Fae Jason Kilkenny moves to the Canadian city of Calgary. Despite its relative backwater status, however, Calgary is the source for a rare material desperately sought after in the supernatural world.
Jason is drafted by the Queen of the Fae to act as her agent in the city and is drawn into the middle of a conspiracy that will destroy the fragile peace. Calgary’s resources and Jason’s own secrets combine to draw the city into the center of supernatural affairs–and threaten to destroy it!
